The salt storehouse is a free-standing monolithic ferroconcrete structure with no basement and one floor. The building’s body was designed as tight and simple. Storehouse construction was adjusted for mine exploitation conditions. Deserving special attention is the use of a unique arched ceiling in the shape of a nutshell, with glued wood skeleton and covering in SIKAPLAN technology and four-side planed planking. The executed works included, apart from the construction works, the installation of a steel conveyor gallery and the transport of a conveyor belt 115.7 meters long and the automation.
This construction widened the company’s portfolio of references, which to date was mostly underground construction.
