Railroad Tunnels Project – Ferijijel in Algeria was the company’s first tunnel contract. The firm executed six tunnels there on the railroad track from Jijel to Ramadane Djamel.

Works were led in harsh and changing hydrogeological and tectonic conditions. Four tunnels were drilled in full section with preliminary support casing, later the final concrete casing was added. The last two were drilled in layers with support casing and simultaneous construction of final casing within 45 to 60 meters of the working face.
