Tunnel was drilled with the NATM method. Final case was made in shotcrete with steel fibers.
As part of the contract the company executed the road tunnel Har-Gilo, 900 m in length, on the road from Jerusalem to Bethlehem. During the completion of this task, two distinct drilling techniques were used. From one side the rock formation was drilled mechanically using a light hydraulic hammer, and from the other explosives were used.
The construction of this tunnel, nearly a kilometer in length, was the first contract the firm acquired without the mediation of the foreign trade center.
