Client: Warsaw Metro LTD., on behalf of Municipal Transport Directorate in Warsaw
Technical data:
Tunnel segment length: 874.36 m
Length of station with sidetracks: 363 m (station length 156 m)
Station width: 26.8 m
Technology:
Station A20 was designed as a three-aisle construction. Due to the span of the structure, it was built with ceiling methods and slotted walls.
Track B20 was built with the use of three methods:
A 217 meter segment of two one-track tunnels, one-aisled and with slotted walls, dilated during the dig with steel struts or, on one fragment, with the base method.
A 316 meter segment of two one-track tunnels, drilled with mining methods, and a 21 meter segment in the same technology connecting the track to the open A19 “Marymont” metro station, 340 meter segment of two one-track tunnels and monolithic two-aisle tunnels, executed in a dig protected by a Berlin bulkhead.
The mentioned works were carried out by the company in consortium with PRG Metro LTD., which took the leading role.
