In 2005 PeBeKa S.A. started works at the construction of another ventilating shaft for the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. ZG “Polkowice-Sieroszowice” Division Mine. The investment has a strategic significance for technological chain of KGHM, because its realization is one of the conditions decisive in exploiting new mining areas. The deepest copper ore deposits in the Mining District Głogów Głeboki Przemysłowy (Deep Industrial Głogów) will become available. The task was planned for the years 2005-2013. On June 30th 2008 the celebration of the first winning hoppit took place, officially the sinking of the shaft. Currently it reaches almost 500 m deep.

Due to the deepest freezing in the Copper Mining District selective freezing and comprehensive process control will be used with freezing aggregate station work and refrigerating circuit medium.
