For years Mine Construction Company PeBeKa S.A. has been supporting Lubin hospice which is looked after by “Palium” Association. Together with Cuprum Arena Shopping Centre it invites all people to atrium at the Gallery to give money to charity on Saturday, the 7th November.
The collection of money was organized in aid of extension of Lubin hospice that has been acting since four years. During this time social needs has been grown in Copper Mining District. “Palium” Association, running the institution, took up a huge challenge to add the second pavilion. It must be equipped with 12 new places for needful patients.This investment will cost nearly one million zloty, that’s why the help of residents of the region is needed.
PeBeKa S.A. and Cuprum Arena are warmly inviting all willing people who wants to visit an exhibition presenting the history of Lubin hospice construction and support a collection of money. During the event some contents and plenty other atractions, such as: Fire show, performance by artists, dance show and concerts will be organized for children and competitors.
Zbigniew Warczewski, many years’ standing employee of PeBeKa, who is currently retired, is the President of “Palium” Association, and that’s the coinceived idea of continuing the cooperation on the plane between the Company and public benefit organisations. PeBeKa is involved in charity action for hospice and also company’s employees help them to do construction works, such as: driveways, fencing, dampproof insulation and surface drainage, and also many rapair works like, for instance, attic rapair. Apart from encouraging employees to transfer 1 per cent of tax on hospice, PeBeKa collects donations and hands over received money, and more than once, also essential equipment for hospice needs. This year in January, during the ceremonial concert suming up an all-Poland campaign “Hospice that’s also life”, where the association from Lubin took part in, Mine Construction Company PeBeKa S.A. received a diploma with honorary title “The Company supporting hospice compaign”.
