The time for Christmas greetings rapidly approaches. The PeBeKa S.A. Mine Building Company has decided to choose an Easter card design in an art contest. The authors won’t be professional artists, however, rather pupils of the Special School Complex in Lubin.
- We wish no only encourage children to be creative and develop their skills this way, but also to direct attention to the fact that great talents are everywhere, you just need to notice them – says Ryszard Janeczek, president of PeBeKa S.A. Mine Building Company. – We have had contact with the management and pupils of the Special School Complex for a long time, and we support them in various ways. Now we have decided to choose the design of our Christmas greeting card from among the works of school children from Lubin.
Any pupil can take part in this art competition taking place at the SSC. Drawings will be judged and awarded in two categories: 6 to 12 years and 13 to 24 years. The organizer has not set forth a limit on submitted works number.
The authors of winning works in every age category will be rewarded with the printing of their cards and interesting solid prizes. Pupils that will take 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded solid prizes. Additionally, all participants will be awarded small gifts.
- We plan to print the Christmas cards in 2,000 copies, and give part of them to the school for auctions during the Christmas fair. Moreover, our employees have shown the will to help and as voluntary work they will spread the cards among their friends and families. The entire revenue will be given to the Special School Complex – says Ryszard Janeczek.
Winners will be chosen by a jury appointed by the organizer, and their names will be known halfway into October.
