Referring to historical data of PeBeKa's establishment (April, 1960), the main celebration of 50th anniversary were planned to be exactly in April. The jubilee science conference will take place on 23rd April, held under the patronage of AGH University of Science and Technology from Krakow and KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. The papers will be presented by representatives of PeBeKa, who will sum up long-standing achievements and technology progress used by PeBeKa. Discussed subjects will include: development technology of shaft sinking, construction of Warsaw underground and tunnelling works made around the world.
The jubilee conference will take place in Jan Wyżykowski Room in the building of board office of KGHM. Many pioneers of Copper Basin are also invited. The conference will be accompanied by exhibitions documenting half century of PeBeKa's achievements.
The jubilee publication of 50 years' anniversary chronicle is planned to be premiered on 23rd April.
To prepare it a special team has been working for many months. The chronicle contains detailed calendar of events, description of the most important company's undertakings and also personal accounts of the employees who were working in the company for many years.
